Kalabharathi values each individuals' artistic ability and interest It provides the right atmosphere for the students to enjoy and appreciate this divine art form through superior quality instructions.
Bharathanatyam is taught as an effective medium to explore deeper values of life and cultural heritage.The calendar year for Kalabharathi extends from September to June General classes in the summer months of July and August are scheduled per availability of students.
Beginners come to class once a week, (and have the option of choosing two classes if they so prefer).
Intermediate and advanced students come twice a week. Each class is one hour in duration. Class sizes are small and are taught by Sivagami. She is ably assisted by talented staff and students.
In addition to regular classes, students attend special classes for performances (for which they may opt to participate in).
During summer months there are dance camps (usually of two week duration) taught by visiting master artistes from India.

Bharathanatyam Certificate in Dance
Kalabharathi has the honor of being the only school selected to be a center for the Alagappa Arts Academy Program in Bharathanatyam in the North west. Currently there are 8 students enrolled in the program and will receive their certificates in dance this year. The first to do so in the State. www.alagappaarts.com
